Assistant Catering Manager

About the role

The Assistant Catering Manager supports the Operations Manager and Site Manager in delivering high‑quality catering services while ensuring compliance with company standards, client expectations, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the operational implementation of company policies and standards.
• Maintain client satisfaction and ensure HSE compliance at all times.
• Support site administration by keeping accurate office records, staff documentation, and inventory reports.
• Collaborate with client representatives and the Operations Supervisor to meet cost, productivity, quality, and service level targets.
• Coordinate training, menu planning, work schedules, and stock/cashbook management.
• Prepare and submit required reports within deadlines.
• Supervise staff to guarantee adherence to HSE rules, reporting hazards, near‑misses, and accidents.
• Communicate effectively with clients and report to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in hospitality management with exposure to catering operations and team leadership.
• Fluent in Arabic with the ability to read and write the language.
• Strong knowledge of catering business procedures and HSE standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Arabic (reading and writing).
