Assistant Guest Relations Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Guest Relations Manager at Banana Island Resort Doha, you will help ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional stay. You will support the Guest Relations team in daily operations, handling inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly.
• Support the Front Desk in coordinating guest services and activities.
• Oversee check‑in and check‑out processes to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve issues.
• Train and mentor guest relations staff to maintain high service standards.
• Help create and implement guest‑satisfaction initiatives.
• Monitor and analyse guest feedback to identify improvement areas.
• Participate in special events and VIP guest arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and local regulations.
• Assist in managing the guest relations budget and resources.

Required profile

• College diploma in hotel management or a related field.
• Previous experience in Front Office or Guest Services.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good English proficiency; Russian is a plus.
