Assistant People and Culture Manager

About the role

The Assistant People and Culture Manager supports the People & Culture team at a luxury hotel, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and align with the brand’s culture and vision. This onsite role involves a mix of administrative, recruitment and employee‑relations duties within a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain weekly filing and keep all employee records up to date.
• Administer internal transfers, promotions, starters and leavers, coordinating with Finance.
• Ensure casual staff records comply with legal requirements.
• Oversee colleague benefits, salary administration and conduct monthly and yearly audits of employee files.
• Prepare and distribute monthly starter, promotion, transfer and leaver lists to Payroll, Security and IT.
• Support probation monitoring and prepare outstanding probation lists.
• Conduct screening interviews and coordinate recruitment activities with division heads, including handling requisitions, new‑hire reporting and visa/flight arrangements.
• Coordinate flight tickets for staff with travel agencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a 5‑star hotel environment.
• At least 1 year of experience with a multinational recognized brand, preferably in the GCC.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural team.
