About the role
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the development and maintenance of relationships with the bank’s corporate customers in Qatar. The role focuses on selling and cross‑selling banking products and services, meeting sales targets while ensuring credit quality and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate day‑to‑day business development activities for a wholesale banking portfolio and acquire new corporate clients.
- Conduct due‑diligence and structuring processes to protect the bank’s interests and facilitate new relationship onboarding.
- Drive product penetration and cross‑selling through joint client visits with relevant specialists.
- Prepare and present regular portfolio reviews, introduce bank products, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Collect credit requests and documentation, perform preliminary analysis, and forward files to the credit team.
- Monitor payment collections, follow up on renewals, and support portfolio risk management.
- Analyse client creditworthiness, compile financial data, and develop account plans to identify business opportunities.
- Recommend procedural improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Required profile
- Experience in relationship management within wholesale or corporate banking.
- Strong understanding of credit analysis, structured finance and investment banking concepts.
- Ability to conduct due‑diligence, assess credit risk, and support loan approval processes.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination.
