Assistant/Associate/Professor – Electrical Engineering Technology

About the role

The College of the North Atlantic – Qatar seeks an energetic faculty member to develop and deliver Electrical Engineering Technology programs. The role supports the School of Engineering Technology and Industrial Trades by creating industry‑aligned curricula and fostering student success.

Key responsibilities

• Design course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with curriculum outcomes and industry needs.
• Deliver engaging instruction using diverse teaching strategies to support student development and retention.
• Participate in faculty, course, and program meetings and contribute to initiatives that enhance student success.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert in campus‑wide activities and external industry and community engagements.
• Maintain accreditation documentation, course portfolios, and records of student progress, grades, and attendance.
• Utilize and recommend educational technologies, preparing high‑quality learning support materials in the College’s LMS (D2L).
• Maintain professional memberships and contribute to scholarly activities aligned with Qatar’s research priorities.

Required profile

• Outstanding record of teaching and relevant industry experience in electrical engineering technology.
• Ability to develop curriculum that meets evolving professional and industry standards.
• Commitment to student success, continuous improvement, and academic excellence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management System D2L.
