AV Pre‑Sales & Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AV Pre‑Sales & Design Engineer to create, develop and support integrated audio‑visual solutions across a variety of projects. The role involves analysing client requirements, producing technical designs and proposals, and delivering technical support throughout the pre‑sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design integrated AV systems including displays, LED video walls, projectors, audio systems, DSPs, control systems, video‑conferencing solutions and AV‑over‑IP network infrastructure.
• Select equipment based on performance, compatibility, reliability and budget.
• Produce system architecture diagrams, signal‑flow diagrams, rack and equipment layouts.
• Develop detailed technical proposals, Bills of Quantities (BOQ/BOM), compliance statements and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers for quotations and technical clarifications.
• Provide technical support to the sales team during client meetings and tender clarifications.
• Create all engineering documentation required for project execution, including shop drawings, system schematics, rack elevations, installation drawings, O&M manuals and as‑built records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the AV industry with a strong focus on system design and pre‑sales engineering.
• Proven ability to prepare AV designs, technical proposals, BOQs and tender documentation.
• Relevant certifications such as AVIXA CTS/CTS‑D/CTS‑IC, Crestron, Extron, Dante or QSC are a plus.
