Cost Manager

About the role

The Cost Manager position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Doha, Qatar. You will be responsible for managing and controlling project costs throughout the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility and estimation to final account and close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost plans and estimates and monitor budgets throughout the project.
• Analyse cost variances and produce clear cost reports and forecasts for internal teams and clients.
• Review contracts, change orders and claims, ensuring accurate documentation of all cost data.
• Support value‑engineering initiatives to optimise project outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, designers and external stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with client objectives.

Required profile

• Strong skills in cost planning, estimating, budgeting and financial monitoring for construction and real‑estate projects.
• Experience in contract administration, change management and claims evaluation within consultancy or construction environments.
• Proficiency with cost‑management tools, Excel‑based financial modelling and data analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field; professional certifications such as MRICS are advantageous.
