Back End Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Back End Developer to join Invenza’s engineering team and help build and maintain the core platform that powers micro‑mobility services worldwide. You will work on a high‑performance Node.js architecture that connects electric scooters and bikes to our SaaS solution.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the Node.js backend, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Develop and manage a TCP socket server for real‑time scooter communication, including IMEI authentication and AT command handling.
• Optimize memory usage and overall server performance.
• Improve security, API design, and database schemas.
• Oversee PM2 process management and deploy updates on AWS.
• Refactor code to a clean, modular SaaS structure.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with TCP sockets and real‑time systems.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Experience deploying and maintaining services on AWS.
• Ability to diagnose memory and performance issues.
• Solid Git workflow knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
