Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity & Networking Distribution

About the role

Simplix is seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to expand its IT distribution and cybersecurity sales channel across Qatar. You will focus on building and enabling relationships with system integrators, value‑added resellers and other IT partners to sell a portfolio that includes cybersecurity solutions, network switches and related infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and onboard system integrators, VAR partners and IT resellers in Qatar.
• Maintain strong relationships with partners, conducting product briefings, joint client visits and pipeline reviews.
• Support partners with technical specifications, commercial proposals and pricing guidance.
• Prospect end‑user accounts in corporate, government and semi‑government sectors and work with partners to close project‑based opportunities.
• Track and manage a structured sales pipeline with clear stages and timelines.
• Assist Simplix’s IT Managed Services team in scoping project requirements and generating leads for managed services, staffing and digital transformation.
• Coordinate internally between sales, delivery and vendor teams to ensure smooth project hand‑off.
• Maintain up‑to‑date pipeline records and provide regular sales forecasts to the Director.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of IT sales experience in Qatar, preferably in distribution or channel sales.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity solutions and networking infrastructure.
• Proven ability to develop and manage partner relationships.
• Experience preparing techno‑commercial proposals and quotations.
