Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will work on-site in Doha, driving growth for AFAQ CONSULTANTS & LAWYERS by identifying new opportunities and strengthening relationships with corporate and institutional clients. This full‑time position collaborates closely with legal teams to align services with market demand.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target sectors.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with corporate and institutional clients.
• Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies.
• Prepare proposals, pitch decks, and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with legal and consulting teams to tailor service offerings.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and track performance metrics.
• Manage client outreach, follow‑ups, and lead generation activities.
• Support marketing initiatives, organize client events and seminars, and expand professional networks.

Required profile

• Strong background in business development, client relationship, and account management.
• Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning.
• Proficiency in proposal drafting, presentation development, and client communication.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional projects and meet multiple deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law or related field; MBA or master’s is a plus.
• Professional experience in a law firm, consulting firm, or professional services environment, preferably in the MENA region.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic proficiency highly beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills, proactive attitude, and ability to work on‑site in Doha.
