Carpenter – Maintenance & Construction

About the role

The Carpenter will join the facilities team at a leading hotel brand in Doha, Qatar, performing construction, installation and repair tasks across the property. This full‑time position focuses on maintaining high‑quality finishes and wood structures to support guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Build, install and repair walls, partitions, drywall, wallpaper, millwork, molding and faux finishes.
• Install and repair laminate finishes and other surface treatments.
• Perform rough‑in framing for doors, windows, cabinetry and related structures.
• Construct, maintain and repair wood structures such as partitions, doors, furniture and other items.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks including tightening fixtures, changing light bulbs and patching wall holes.
• Order supplies, complete requisitions and coordinate with approved vendors.
• Load, transport and unload materials using hand trucks and elevators.
• Follow all company safety policies, report hazards and complete required safety training.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related carpentry or construction experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
