Civil Supervisor

About the role

ISS International SpA is looking for an experienced Civil Supervisor to join a client operating in the fertilizer industry in Qatar. The role involves overseeing civil maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with HSE and quality standards, and supporting the structural engineering team on site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise onsite civil works performed by contractors and ensure adherence to client HSE and quality requirements.
• Review and approve Work Method Statements and construction drawings.
• Monitor civil maintenance activities, including concrete rehabilitation and marine structure upkeep.
• Maintain accurate maintenance history, close‑out reports, and logs of completed work.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to guarantee proper implementation of contract documents.
• Conduct site inspections, identify defects, and communicate risks to engineering and management teams.
• Support other disciplines related to civil works and participate in safety walks and accident investigations.

Required profile

• Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• At least 10 years of civil engineering experience in oil, gas, petrochemical or fertilizer industries, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
