Cluster Reservations Agent

About the role

The Cluster Reservations Agent is responsible for handling all reservation inquiries for the hotel cluster, ensuring guests receive accurate information and a seamless booking experience. This full‑time position works on‑site at Marriott’s Doha location and supports the hotel’s revenue goals through professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Verify room availability, rates, and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies.
• Accommodate and document special requests, answer questions about facilities and services.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and input data accurately into the reservation system.
• Code special room types (complimentary, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates, wholesale) correctly.
• Follow escalation procedures for guest concerns and adhere to company policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information, and ensure guest privacy.
• Assist guests with disabilities and provide courteous telephone etiquette.
• Support team goals, develop positive relationships, and comply with quality‑assurance standards.
• Lift, move, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Doha.
• Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
• Capability to lift and move items up to 10 pounds.
• Commitment to confidentiality, company policies, and guest service standards.
