Commissioning and Training Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Commissioning and Training Supervisor to be on‑site in Ras Lafan, Qatar, for a concise 2‑3 week engagement starting in mid‑August. The role involves guiding the client through the initial use of specialised workshop equipment, delivering safety instruction and basic troubleshooting, and ensuring a smooth hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site guidance to the client on eight workshop tools, including pipe bending machines, welding machines, grinders/benders, and hydraulic pullers.
• Liaise with equipment manufacturers when additional technical support is required.
• Deliver a focused training program covering main machinery functions, safety systems, proper PPE use, and basic troubleshooting.
• Verify results of training sessions and confirm correct positioning of accessories.
• Perform routine machinery maintenance checks during the site visit.

Required profile

• Physically present in Qatar for the duration of the assignment.
• Available to work 10 hours per day, six days a week (07:00‑17:00).
• Able to start in the middle of August.
• Willing to extend the contract if needed.
