Commissioning Engineer – Offshore

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to lead offshore commissioning activities for large‑scale EPC/EPIC oil & gas projects. The role is based in Doha, Qatar, and involves managing multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, on‑time handover of facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise commissioning and pre‑commissioning tasks on offshore assets such as wellhead jackets and platforms.
• Prepare and review commissioning dossiers, engineering documents and method statements.
• Drive mechanical completion and coordinate handover to operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards and HSE regulations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and risk mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 12 years of commissioning experience, including at least 3 years on offshore projects.
• Proven track record of delivering complex EPC/EPIC projects.
• Strong leadership and multidisciplinary team management skills.
