Communication Advisor

About the role

The Communication Advisor will lead the development and execution of Ashghal’s corporate communication and stakeholder engagement system, supporting the Authority’s mission to deliver world‑class infrastructure aligned with Qatar’s National Vision.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for strategic initiatives, including Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and construction technology transformation.
• Develop and manage communication governance frameworks and best‑practice guidelines to ensure consistency and strategic alignment across all platforms.
• Create and execute change‑management plans that facilitate the adoption of MMC and related technologies.
• Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and government entities to synchronize initiatives, standardisation efforts and policy alignment.
• Drive stakeholder‑engagement programmes, building relationships with ministries, developers, contractors, architects and international partners.
• Research, write, edit and produce high‑quality communication materials such as executive briefings, strategic updates and performance reports.
• Organise workshops, stakeholder forums, conferences and international knowledge‑sharing events to showcase Ashghal’s projects and governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic corporate communication and stakeholder engagement, preferably within the infrastructure or construction sector.
• Strong understanding of change‑management principles and modern construction methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to mentor and train team members in strategic communication and international liaison.
