Construction Area Manager (Process)

About the role

The Construction Area Manager (Process) will lead all construction activities for the assigned EPC scope at Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar. You will oversee the transition from detailed engineering through construction execution and handover, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and seamless integration with pre‑commissioning and commissioning phases.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site execution of EPC packages and ensure alignment with the approved Completion Sequence.
• Review, approve and monitor Construction Execution Plans, procedures, specifications and progress reports submitted by EPC contractors.
• Identify and resolve technical issues quickly, applying systematic problem‑solving methods.
• Coordinate closely with EPC Project Manager, construction managers, supervision teams, and specialist subcontractors.
• Participate in weekly, monthly and specialist meetings, 3D model reviews, constructability and traffic reviews.
• Manage a large workforce of approximately 5,000 personnel across multiple locations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale EPC construction projects in a multicultural environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety, health, environmental compliance and quality standards.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and maintain effective stakeholder communication.
