Construction Manager – Government Projects

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead on‑site administration, technical management, and coordination for multi‑million‑dollar, government‑funded construction projects at Al Udeid Air Base in Doha, Qatar. This position supports the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) and ensures that all work complies with contract and design requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and verify construction documents, schedules, specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure construction aligns with approved documents.
• Conduct daily site inspections, document findings on AF Form 1477, and maintain project records.
• Review shop drawings and product submittals, providing recommendations to the Site Manager.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards, contributing to safety committees and quality initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience in construction management and inspection, or an associate’s degree in Construction Management with 5 years of field experience.
• Minimum two years working with public or government organizations.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, sound judgment, and capacity to work under tight deadlines.
