Project Manager – Air Force Engineering Contract

About the role

The Project Manager will support the USAF Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) at Al Udeid Air Base, providing planning, design review, construction management and administrative services for a range of real‑property projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Installation Development Plans, District Plans and Component plans in accordance with DAFI 32‑1015.
• Gather and document existing site conditions using the Comprehensive Planning Platform (CPP) and update GeoBase datasets.
• Provide full‑cycle project management for new construction, renovation and improvement projects, covering civil, structural, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Review project designs for constructability, safety and compliance, delivering factual feedback within defined deadlines.
• Conduct construction management activities, monitor compliance with drawings and specifications, and manage RFIs between contractors and the Government.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project and construction management for military or government facilities.
• Ability to produce accurate planning datasets and documentation under tight timelines.
• Strong technical liaison skills to coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical and electrical experts.
