Construction Supervisor – Civil

About the role

The Construction Supervisor (Civil) will lead the supervision of civil construction works for oil & gas projects in Doha. You will ensure that all activities are executed safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with engineering designs, QHSE standards and contractual specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise contractors to guarantee that construction is performed according to the approved scope of work, engineering design, and QHSE standards.
• Review and comment on method statements, material submittals, commissioning procedures and construction plans, ensuring compliance from start‑up to hand‑over.
• Act as the performing authority for Permit to Work, coordinating mobilisation, gate passes and site lay‑down areas.
• Inspect, test and certify completed works, initiate Mechanical Completion Certificates and drive the closure of punch‑list items.
• Support the development of Qatari nationals through on‑the‑job training and mentorship.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Engineering or a relevant diploma with extensive construction experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction and installation within oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction best practices, QHSE standards and permit‑to‑work procedures.
• Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution and leadership abilities.
