Construction Supervisor (Electrical & Instrument)

About the role

We are looking for a Construction Supervisor (Electrical & Instrument) to lead electrical and instrumentation works on EPC projects in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The role acts as the client’s on‑site representative, ensuring safe, on‑schedule delivery in line with project specifications, IFC drawings and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all electrical and instrumentation construction activities according to execution plans and technical specifications.
• Monitor site progress, identify risks or delays and implement mitigation measures.
• Coordinate contractors and subcontractors, review and approve method statements, and ensure compliance with scope, schedule and quality.
• Enforce HSE policies, manage Permit‑to‑Work systems and participate in safety initiatives.
• Verify work against specifications, review inspection reports, manage non‑conformances and support audits and walkthroughs.
• Liaise with Project Engineering, QA/QC, operations and other stakeholders, reporting critical issues to the Construction Lead.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Instrument Engineering (or equivalent diploma).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation construction on EPC projects, preferably in oil & gas.
• Proven experience in construction supervision, installation, testing and mechanical completion.
• Experience on both greenfield and brownfield projects, including shutdown environments.
