Contracts Lead – Offshore EPCI Projects

About the role

The Contracts Lead will own the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle for offshore EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation) projects, from strategy workshops through to contract award and day‑to‑day administration. This senior position supports a multi‑billion‑dollar offshore development, ensuring contractual compliance and effective risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the EPCI, FEED and Long Lead Item (LLI) contract process, including ITT preparation, tender evaluation and award.
• Administer post‑award activities such as formal correspondence, change orders, claims, insurance and guarantees.
• Provide contract strategy advice to the Project Management Team on change order management, claims handling and final close‑out.
• Oversee contract administration for jackets, topsides and pipeline facilities, ensuring alignment with project schedules and budgets.
• Maintain actionable reporting, lessons learned and support services throughout the contract lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of contract management experience on EPC contracts, with at least 4 years in the oil & gas sector.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role of contractor/sub‑contractor personnel.
• Strong knowledge of project disciplines such as planning, cost control, risk and change management.
• Proficiency in international standards, best practices and business processes related to contract administration.
