About the role
The Cook will work in the kitchen of The St. Regis Residence in Doha, preparing a wide range of dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and presentation. The role involves both hot and cold food preparation in a fast‑paced, hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients – portion, chop, weigh, store and measure food items according to recipes.
- Cook and assemble dishes, operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers, and test food for proper doneness.
- Maintain cleanliness – wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tools, knives and equipment, and ensure proper temperature control.
- Set up and break down work stations, serve food in correct portions, and monitor food quality throughout preparation.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant kitchen experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
