Cost Management Analyst – Finance & Planning

About the role

The Cost Management Analyst will monitor, analyse and manage organisational costs to ensure financial efficiency and compliance with company objectives. The role supports budgeting, forecasting, cost optimisation, inventory analysis and financial reporting while providing insights for strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for cost‑management activities, tracking daily cost control and delivering periodic reports.
• Develop and maintain annual cost‑management plans, financial models and forecasting tools.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting across departments, preparing monthly performance reports and variance analyses.
• Lead the preparation and consolidation of cost budgets for the group, parent company and subsidiaries.
• Conduct regular meetings with department heads and finance stakeholders to review cost performance and drive improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in Cost Management, FP&A, budgeting or finance, preferably in the fertilizer, petrochemical, oil & gas or industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA financial and cost‑management modules.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
