Project Manager – Airfield Systems

About the role

ADB SAFEGATE is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead airfield projects across diverse and challenging environments. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while working on remote sites and travelling frequently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of airfield systems projects, aligning with organisational goals and client requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Engage with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resources for efficient execution.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Provide regular progress updates and detailed reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of project management experience, preferably in airfield systems or aviation infrastructure.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work on remote sites for extended periods and travel frequently on short notice.

Required skills

• Expertise in airfield systems such as lighting, navigation, communication, and safety.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
