Demi Chef de Partie

About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie will work within the hotel’s culinary team to prepare and present high‑quality dishes for guests at St. Regis Doha. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the Chef in delivering consistent, delicious meals while maintaining the brand’s standards of luxury service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, substitute items and cold foods according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters; pull and thaw items from freezer storage.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, garnish and maintain food logs.
• Monitor quality and quantity of food, inform Chef of excess items for daily specials.
• Communicate menu specials and out‑of‑stock items to Food & Beverage service staff.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies; report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating team members as needed.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree related to culinary arts.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, professional appearance and confidentiality.
