Director of Finance (Luxury Hospitality)

About the role

The Ned Doha, a landmark luxury hotel in Qatar, is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead its financial function. This senior position reports to senior leadership and plays a pivotal role in driving financial performance, compliance, and strategic planning for the property.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Finance team, overseeing all day‑to‑day financial operations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash‑flow processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and audit requirements.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to support business decisions and growth.
• Monitor financial performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Build strong relationships with department heads and key stakeholders across the hotel.

Required profile

• Previous senior finance leadership experience within luxury hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
• Experience with hospitality financial systems is an advantage.
