E-Commerce Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The E‑Commerce Manager will lead the hotel’s digital sales strategy, focusing on increasing direct bookings through the brand website and mobile channels while reducing reliance on third‑party platforms. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Management, you will align digital marketing execution with overall yield management to maximise online revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize the brand website and booking engine to improve conversion rate and average order value through A/B testing, UX enhancements and mobile responsiveness.
• Plan and execute revenue‑driven digital marketing campaigns, managing PPC/SEM, SEO, metasearch (Google Hotel Ads, TripAdvisor, Trivago) and retargeting efforts.
• Coordinate email marketing automation and CRM initiatives for pre‑arrival upselling and post‑stay retention.
• Audit and enhance OTA and metasearch listings, ensuring rate parity, accurate content and leveraging merchandising tools during low‑demand periods.
• Measure and report digital performance using GA4, tracking ROAS, acquisition cost per booking, traffic and channel share, and present insights to revenue and sales teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, E‑Commerce, Digital Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality e‑commerce, digital marketing or online distribution.

• Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
• Central Reservation Systems (CRS) and Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Channel Management Systems.
• PPC/SEM and SEO.
• Metasearch advertising platforms (e.g., Google Hotel Ads, TripAdvisor, Trivago).
