Electrical Engineer – Operations & Maintenance

About the role

Provide electrical engineering expertise consistent with Engineer‑level competency to support department objectives and the company’s LNG strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support to operations and asset maintenance, handling day‑to‑day troubleshooting of Level‑2 issues and performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Initiate and manage Management of Change (MOC) processes, supporting feasibility studies and implementation of recommendations.
• Contribute to Reliability‑Centred Maintenance (RCM) initiatives, root‑cause failure analysis, risk screening and formal risk assessments.
• Provide inputs for budgeting, IT demand planning and technical training programs.
• Review and develop maintenance procedures in line with company standards.
• Supervise contractors, consultants and service providers to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Execute maintenance quality verification programs according to company guidelines.
• Deliver in‑house technical training to the asset maintenance team.
• Manage contracts supporting electrical maintenance and repairs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science, specializing in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of electrical experience in oil & gas or petrochemical operations and asset maintenance.
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate and proficient with a variety of engineering software tools.
