Material Agreement Assistant

About the role

The Material Agreement Assistant supports the planning, tendering, execution and administration of material agreements for QatarEnergy LNG. The role ensures that contractual objectives and key performance indicators are tracked and met, helping to secure timely material availability for end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing annual objectives and KPIs for the division to align with corporate strategy.
• Support the procurement agreement buying process, including invitations to tender, evaluations and contract award, while maintaining corporate controls.
• Help manage the material agreement tendering process and ensure contract compliance to meet end‑user material availability requirements.
• Prepare documentation for contract administration to verify supplier deliveries meet availability metrics and contractual terms.
• Coordinate internal expediting and external alignment with vendors, packers and freight forwarders to achieve on‑time material performance.
• Analyze division processes to identify improvement opportunities that enhance service offerings.
• Provide required documents for peer reviews, internal and external audits, ensuring controls are maintained and gaps corrected.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary school education (12 years).
• Minimum five years of direct experience in the oil and gas industry with purchasing or procurement responsibilities.
