About the role
The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, supporting the team, and contributing to departmental improvement efforts to boost performance. The role also requires reporting faults to engineers and supervisors.
Key responsibilities
- Execute assigned preventive maintenance tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Carry out corrective maintenance jobs and ensure timely completion.
- Assist subcontractors with their assigned work and ensure quality standards.
- Report defects, breakdowns, and spare‑part needs to the Fault Reporting Center or relevant engineers.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and follow duty rosters and safety procedures.
Required profile
- ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, and BS.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to meet tight deadlines.
- Team‑oriented attitude and ability to work collaboratively.
Required skills
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Knowledge of MSDS handling.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards.
- Knowledge of BS standards.
