About the role
The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, supporting the team, and contributing to departmental improvement efforts to boost performance.
Key responsibilities
- Execute assigned Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Carry out corrective maintenance tasks promptly and ensure high-quality work.
- Assist subcontractors with their assigned tasks and report any defects, breakdowns, or damages to the Fault Reporting Center or engineering team.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and report spare‑part requirements.
- Follow duty rosters, health, safety, quality (HSEQ) procedures, and client regulations.
Required profile
- ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
- Problem‑solving abilities and capacity to meet tight deadlines.
- Teamwork orientation and willingness to follow instructions from supervisors and engineers.
Required skills
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Knowledge of MSDS guidelines.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards.
- Knowledge of BS (British Standards) regulations.
