Engineering Technician – Maintenance & Operations

About the role

The Engineering Technician is responsible for routine maintenance of property vehicles and related equipment at a major hospitality site. The role ensures that all vehicles and tools operate safely and efficiently while supporting the overall facilities team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor routine maintenance on engineering trucks, shuttle vans and electric carts, including oil checks, fluid level monitoring, tire pressure inspection and spark‑plug replacement.
• Charge batteries, conduct preventative maintenance, clean and lubricate tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Record daily logs of operations, safety activities, test results and equipment malfunctions.
• Follow company safety, security and environmental policies; report hazards, accidents or injuries.
• Handle physical tasks such as lifting, moving and positioning objects up to 50 lb without assistance.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 2 years related vehicle or equipment maintenance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures.
