External Audit Manager – On-site Contract in Doha

About the role

The External Audit Manager will join JAR Accounting and Auditing in Doha on an on‑site contract basis. You will lead external audit engagements, ensure financial statements are prepared and reviewed in line with regulatory standards, and drive audit teams toward high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate external audit engagements for diverse clients.
• Prepare, review and validate financial statements for compliance with local and international standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and design audit procedures that meet client requirements.
• Manage and mentor audit team members, overseeing timelines and deliverables.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in financial statements and financial audits.
• Solid finance and accounting knowledge to analyse complex data.
• Advanced analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent (highly desirable).
• Prior leadership experience in an audit environment.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to clients and teams.
