EYFS Teacher

About the role

The EYFS Teacher will join Durham School for Girls to deliver high‑quality early years education in line with UK Teaching Standards and Qatari Ministry of Education expectations. The role focuses on creating an engaging, inclusive classroom that supports both academic and personal development of young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging EYFS lessons, using technology and innovative tools to promote active, student‑led learning.
• Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with DSGD/MARK values, Qatari culture, and assessment objectives.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback and assess student progress to inform differentiated instruction.
• Maintain a safe, respectful classroom environment, fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and a growth mindset.
• Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and stakeholders, using school portals and other platforms.
• Support student well‑being, address any concerns such as bullying or mental health, and collaborate with support services.

• Commitment to uphold UK Teaching Standards and align practices with Qatari Ministry of Education policies.
• Demonstrated ability to create inclusive, engaging lessons for diverse early‑years learners.
• Strong professional conduct, effective collaboration with colleagues, and clear communication with parents and stakeholders.
