Facilities AMP Manager

About the role

The Facilities AMP Manager will serve as the engineering expert for the Facilities Sub‑AMPs, overseeing the full asset lifecycle of facility assets at Al Udeid Air Base in Doha, Qatar. The role supports the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) and provides strategic guidance on investment, planning, and performance of facilities and linear infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Advise the Government on asset visibility, requirements, planning and performance across the facilities portfolio.
• Conduct QA reviews of asset data, perform gap analysis, and implement data standards.
• Guide Sub‑AMPs and the Built Infrastructure Assessment Team on inventory prioritisation and condition‑assessment schedules.
• Support condition assessments, ensuring data quality and proper documentation.
• Define and prioritise requirements, integrate them into project development timelines, and recommend work for the WRRB.
• Collaborate with Operations Flight, Engineering Flight and subject‑matter experts on methodology and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in facilities asset lifecycle management, including planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance and demolition.
• Proven ability to conduct quality assurance reviews and data‑driven gap analyses.
• Experience working with government or defence contracts is advantageous.
