Finance Director – Pre‑Opening Luxury Hotel (Doha)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Finance Director to join the pre‑opening team of a flagship luxury hotel in Doha. You will shape the financial strategy, systems and controls from the ground up and guide the property to a successful launch and long‑term profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance and cash‑flow management.
• Work closely with the General Manager and owners to provide strategic financial guidance.
• Lead the design and implementation of financial systems, processes and robust internal controls.
• Build, mentor and manage a high‑performing finance team.
• Provide hands‑on support during the pre‑opening phase and transition to a strategic leadership role post‑opening.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader within luxury hospitality.
• Strong pre‑opening experience is highly preferred.
• In‑depth knowledge of financial planning, analysis and controls.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Relevant finance qualification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
