Flight Security Officer

About the role

The Flight Security Officer ensures the safety and security of aircraft, passengers, crew, and related facilities for Amiri Flight in Doha. The role requires rapid response, thorough security checks, and strict adherence to aviation security protocols, especially for VVIP and VIP movements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑flight and post‑flight security inspections of aircraft and surrounding areas.
• Conduct detailed searches using equipment such as explosive detectors, metal detectors and search mirrors.
• Manage immigration procedures and control access to aircraft.
• Prevent and respond to any breaches of aviation security within the assigned zone.
• Provide immediate assistance to pilots, crew, or other personnel during incidents.
• Safeguard Amiri Flight assets, passengers and crew during operations in Qatar and at outstations.

Required profile

• Background in military, police, or aviation security.
• Ability to be on duty 24/7 with short‑notice call‑outs.
• High level of security awareness and professional grooming.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Understanding of VVIP/VIP protocols and cultural sensitivities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• General aviation knowledge.
• Investigation and surveillance capabilities.
