Freight and Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Freight and Logistics Coordinator will manage end‑to‑end tracking and coordination of inbound shipments, courier operations, and order fulfillment across Qatar and the GCC. You will work with multiple freight modes—including sea, air, and express courier—to ensure smooth logistics for several brands.

Key responsibilities

• Track inbound shipments from China and Dubai (sea FCL/LCL, air freight, express courier) and maintain a live consignment tracker.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents for Qatar and Dubai imports, keeping full customs documentation.
• Prepare and file shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, and certificates of origin.
• Manage day‑to‑day courier operations with Aramex and FedEx, including bookings, tracking, and invoice verification.
• Oversee inventory transfers from Dubai to the Qatar store and monitor outbound consignments.
• Monitor the local delivery application, follow up on delayed or failed orders, and escalate when needed.
• Track inbound returns, coordinate condition assessments, and maintain a returns log.
• Maintain organized records for finance reconciliation and internal audit.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics coordination, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
• Working knowledge of sea freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, express courier, and GCC import/export procedures.
• Clear written communication in English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Aramex and FedEx courier platforms.
• Strong attention to detail for invoice checking and record‑keeping.
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
