Fund Accountant

About the role

The Fund Accountant will support accurate fund accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance for a range of investment vehicles, including asset‑management funds, companies, SPCs, and discretionary mandates. This role ensures that all accounting records are maintained to the highest standards and that stakeholders receive timely, reliable financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain fund accounting records, general ledgers, and charts of accounts.
• Prepare financial statements, trial balances, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Process fund expenses, accruals, fees, subscriptions, redemptions, income, and cash‑flow transactions.
• Support accounting systems, ensure data quality, and uphold internal controls.
• Coordinate with auditors, fund managers, administrators, custodians, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management; ACCA, CPA, CA, or MBA in Finance preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, including fund accounting or exposure to portfolio‑management platforms.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, controls, and analytical techniques.
• Excellent communication and execution abilities.
• Fluent English.
