Gas / Elevator Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Gas / Elevator Engineer to lead the operation, maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance of our gas distribution and vertical transportation systems. You will ensure reliable service, oversee contractors, and respond to emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage LPG and natural gas systems, elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation assets.
• Monitor contractor performance, ensuring SLA/KPI compliance and adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Guarantee compliance with QCDD, WOQOD, and other safety regulations.
• Coordinate emergency response for gas leaks, elevator entrapments, and system failures.
• Maintain accurate records, inspections, testing, and compliance documentation using CAFM/CMMS platforms.
• Support procurement activities, technical evaluations, spare‑parts planning, and lifecycle management of equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience in facility management or real‑estate environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of gas systems, elevators, safety systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CAFM/CMMS tools.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Preferred certifications: NEBOSH or equivalent HSE, elevator maintenance/safety certification, gas systems safety certification.
