General Claims Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a General Claims Specialist to join our Doha team. You will play a pivotal role in managing insurance claims, ensuring they are processed efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance providers and loss adjustors.
• Resolve claims efficiently, escalating issues when necessary.
• Liaise with insurance companies to uphold agreed service levels and close pending cases.
• Reassess rejected claims to verify eligibility and completeness of documentation.
• Adhere to legal requirements, industry regulations, and internal quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in general claims processing.
• Strong knowledge of general insurance policies, coverage, and regulations.
• In‑depth understanding of Qatar’s insurance regulatory framework.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
