Head of Learning & Development

About the role

The Head of Learning & Development will lead the Group’s Talent Development strategy, overseeing both technical and managerial training initiatives across the network. Reporting to senior leadership, this role ensures that learning programs are aligned with business objectives and delivered through effective platforms and methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Group’s Talent Development vision, philosophy, and strategic roadmap.
• Design, develop and implement leadership development programs that build management capabilities for short‑ and long‑term success.
• Set direction for regulatory, compliance and employee development training, selecting cost‑effective delivery channels.
• Own the learning technology strategy, including LMS and blended‑learning solutions, and maintain the Talent Development Management System (TDMS).
• Monitor regional and international L&D trends and recommend applicable innovations.
• Facilitate a forum for Training Managers to share standards, digitisation practices and best‑practice collaboration.
• Partner with business units to measure learning impact and report on agreed evaluation metrics.
• Provide consulting support to the C‑Suite and senior managers on talent development alignment with business goals.
