Payroll Taxation and Compliance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Payroll Taxation & Compliance Manager to lead payroll compliance operations and ensure adherence to tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions. The role combines deep tax knowledge with hands‑on payroll system expertise to safeguard accurate payroll processing.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate payroll tax calculations in line with local tax laws.
• Review and reconcile payroll reports to guarantee tax compliance.
• Monitor changes in payroll tax regulations and implement required updates.
• Automate payroll tax mechanisms within the payroll system.
• Oversee payroll accounting transactions, including EOSS, regular and off‑cycle payroll.
• Conduct payroll audits and compliance reviews to identify irregularities.
• Verify monthly payroll earnings and deductions.
• Prepare employee CTC and payroll provision reports and provide insights to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• CPA or ACCA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years overall experience, with at least 3 years in payroll taxation and compliance.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws, payroll accounting, and compliance regulations.
• Experience in payroll audits, reconciliation and reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with payroll systems and ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and leadership skills.

Required skills

• SAP functional knowledge (mandatory).
• Experience with ERP platforms.
