Health Program Manager

About the role

The Health Program Manager leads the end‑to‑end delivery of health initiatives, ensuring they align with organisational strategy, regulatory requirements and evidence‑based decision making. This role coordinates resources, monitors performance, and drives continuous improvement across multiple programs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop health program strategies in collaboration with senior leadership and design new programs aligned with organisational policies.
• Plan, budget, execute and report on health programs, managing day‑to‑day implementation and coordination.
• Monitor program progress, analyse data, and evaluate effectiveness against defined metrics.
• Build and manage partnerships with national health organisations, government entities and private‑sector partners.
• Engage health‑sector leaders, organise quarterly and annual leadership meetings, and support stakeholder communication.
• Develop and manage program budgets, forecasts and resource allocation.
• Research emerging health trends, identify innovative solutions and ensure alignment with strategic plans.
• Establish program metrics, track implementation, and provide regular performance reporting.
• Identify program risks, recommend preventive measures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Design and deliver training initiatives to promote knowledge sharing among stakeholders.
