Heating & Air Conditioning Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Heating and Air‑Conditioning Design Engineer to join our consultancy’s design team. The role involves delivering comprehensive HVAC, AC and mechanical ventilation solutions for large‑scale projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform load calculations, pipe and duct sizing, and psychrometric analysis for HVAC/AC systems.
• Develop equipment selection, sequence of operation, and schematic drawings based on client briefs.
• Prepare design concepts, criteria, and detailed mechanical system layouts using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with civil teams to meet specification and coordination requirements.
• Support MEGA‑scale projects and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality designs.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of experience in HVAC, AC and Mechanical Ventilation design.
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards and local QCDD regulations.
• Proven ability to work on large projects and deliver designs on schedule.

Required skills

• HVAC/AC/MV design software and calculations.
• Load calculation, duct and pipe sizing.
• Psychrometric analysis.
• Equipment selection and sequence of operation preparation.
• AutoCAD for mechanical/HVAC drafting.
• Civil coordination understanding.
