Host/Hostess – Guest Reception

About the role

Desert Rose Qatar is seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests. This full‑time, on‑site position involves welcoming visitors, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service in a busy dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments using the restaurant’s booking system.
• Answer phone inquiries promptly and coordinate with the serving team.
• Maintain an organized reception area and keep reservation logs up to date.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver consistent, high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to stay calm, multitask, and pay attention to detail in a fast‑paced setting.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or front‑of‑house roles is beneficial.
