HR Operations Officer – Qatarization

About the role

The HR Operations Officer will ensure smooth payroll processing, manage personnel‑related financial transactions, and support all administrative logistics for the bank’s operations in Qatar. This position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with Qatar labour and Tawteen laws while delivering high internal customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Process country payroll accurately and on time.
• Validate and process expense claims, travel, transport, shift compensation, and standby payments.
• Handle legal formalities for residency, work permits, visas, and insurance.
• Maintain and archive staff personnel records in the HRIS.
• Record staff grades, promotions, incentives, and end‑of‑service details in Oracle.
• Monitor attendance, vacation status, and clock‑in data across all branches.
• Oversee staff transfers, updates to organisational charts, and related documentation.
• Audit branch expenses and claims.
• Publish job vacancies, coordinate recruitment, and support hiring processes.
• Produce HR statistics (daily, monthly, annual) as required.
• Ensure adherence to information security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university; HR certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of personnel management and recruitment experience, with at least 1 year in payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and Tawteen Law.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication skills.
