HVAC Technician – Installation, Maintenance & Commissioning

About the role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, operate, maintain and repair heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems for residential, commercial or industrial facilities in Doha.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test, commission and maintain HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, DX units, VRF/VRV, split and packaged units, and exhaust/fresh‑air systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules, diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control issues.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics and technical manuals; ensure proper refrigerant charging, pressure testing, vacuuming and leak detection.
• Monitor system performance, maintain service reports and logs, and respond to emergency breakdowns.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of hands‑on HVAC experience on projects or facilities, preferably in GCC/UAE.
• Familiarity with international standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA or CIBSE.

• Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work from drawings and method statements.
• Preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Basic electrical control panel knowledge.
• Knowledge of refrigerants and handling procedures.
• HVAC installation, testing and commissioning.
