ICS Cybersecurity Lead Engineer

About the role

The ICS Cybersecurity Lead Engineer will join Schneider Electric’s Center of Expertise (COE) within the Industrial Automation business. You will help design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions for operational technology (OT) environments, ensuring secure integration with Schneider applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or assist OT cybersecurity projects from design through delivery, including FAT/SAT testing.
• Implement and manage network‑based firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper) and L2/L3 configurations.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments on client OT systems and recommend remediation.
• Provide on‑site support, training, and consulting for cybersecurity controls.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation such as FDS, DDS, FAT, and MOS.

Required profile

• 1–8 years of experience with network firewalls and advanced L2/L3 network implementation.
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting networks using packet sniffers and related tools.
• Familiarity with OT environments and industrial automation security best practices.
